Philosophy
Yoga BodyYoga teaches us how to carry our physical body efficiently and sustainability, how to move through our day with energy and ease. We learn to use gravity to create space in the body vs. succumbing to the relentless aging pull of gravity. Yoga is a proactive approach to aging well and an investment in being well in the present.

Yoga MindYoga helps us become mindful by demanding our full attention and bringing our awareness again and again to the breath. When one is completely focused, your awareness resides in the here and now.
|
Yoga SpiritYoga is a way of living and being; learning to deepen our awareness moment to moment helps to develop a quiet mind and a vibrate, energetic body. Yoga awakens love, compassion, and intelligence helping us understand ourselves and others. When asked, “Are you a god or a man ? The Buddha replied, “I AM AWAKE.”

Yoga found me in 2011, fresh out of high school. It was my escape from working two jobs, going to culinary school, and a welcomed switch up from my usual brutal workout routines.
Yoga helped me to create balance, confidence, and stability not only within the views I had of myself and my body but also in the crazy world I created around me.
I found Container Collective in Lakewood Colorado in 2016. There I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training through Baptiste Institute's Expand Your Power under Brittany Hopkins and Rachel Nelson.
As a yoga instructor, I am committed to creating an open energetic environment for anyone and everyone to learn to love and express their true selves through asanas and breath
As a being, I am committed to being one with nature, accepting and loving all around me, and being in the here and now.
