If you asked me 5 years ago what I thought of yoga, I would have told you that it was a wonderful way to get a good workout in and was my way of escaping 2 jobs and culinary school at the time.
If you would have asked 2 years ago, my response might have been along the lines of, "yoga has provided an amazing place for me to heal my newly mothered body, get back into shape, and has helped me cope with all the hormones and everything else crazy life has to throw at me".
But never would I have thought about telling you that I wanted to start my own studio, or lead free yoga classes in the park, or eventually lead yoga retreats all over the world. I didn't know it then either, though.
Yoga has been a part of my life for 10 years now , and not until last year did I really find my life passion hiding in my warrior twos. After being presented with a yoga teacher training a little over a year ago I really thought about how much yoga had transformed my life and helped me deal with so many physical and mental issues I have faced. I thought from this training I would be able to help further my growth even more, and possibly help those closes to me through the healing practices of yoga.
While in training I was amazed with how great I felt and how this light growing inside me affected everything around me. I new after a few weeks in I realized that this was my way to give back to my beautiful world.
I want to reach as many people as I possibly can with the love and strength created from this amazing practice.
Putting all my energy and thought into making that goal a reality I now have the opportunity to share yoga with all of you, and many many more to come!
